Welcome to the creative genius of Jon Sarkin. After a brain hemorrhage and a stroke nearly killed him, the once-shy, ambitious chiropractor awoke with an effusive, unfocused need to create. He awoke a different man in body and spirit with an insatiable drive to draw and paint. His drive to create has produced the most imaginative body of art.
Jon's unique story has been featured in Vanity Fair, NPR, The Guardian, BBC, ABC Medical Mysteries, and others. The musical group Guster featured Jon's art in their "Do You Love Me" video. Additionally, a book called "Shadows Bright As Glass" has been written by Pulitzer Prize Winner - Amy Nutt regarding Jon's journey from brain trauma to artist triumph.
